{"id":20974,"date":"2019-05-03T10:50:03","date_gmt":"2019-05-03T10:50:03","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/wl\/stniniansps\/?p=20974"},"modified":"2019-05-03T10:50:03","modified_gmt":"2019-05-03T10:50:03","slug":"p6-7-weekly-news-15","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/wl\/stniniansps\/2019\/05\/03\/p6-7-weekly-news-15\/","title":{"rendered":"P6\/7 Weekly News"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span>P6\/7 busy week!!!<\/span><span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Pupil voice<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>This\u00a0 week<\/span><span>\u00a0in primary 6\/7 we have being doing lots of hard work.<\/span><span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>\u00a0Everyone-We\u00a0<\/span><span>learned<\/span><span>\u00a0 about the 17 global goals everybody\u00a0 got put into teams and worked on one of them.<\/span><span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Everyone-In writing we wrote about how good our school is and we got to choose our title.<\/span><span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Everyone-In PE we did high\u00a0<\/span><span>jump and<\/span><span>\u00a0it was\u00a0<\/span><span>super duper<\/span><span>\u00a0FUN!! And everybody enjoyed it.<\/span><span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Teacher voice<\/p>\n<p>This has been my first full week working with P6\/7 and I have loved getting to know the class. The energy and enthusiasm in this class is amazing!<\/p>\n<p>This week we have been working hard on introducing measurement, our new topic in mathematics. We have been measuring our own items around the classroom and converting the measurements.\u00a0We wrote all about St. Ninian&#8217;s for descriptive writing and learned pets in Spanish so it has been a busy week for all of us.<\/p>\n<p>We had an entertaining drama lesson with some very funny improvised sketches to warm up and then made &#8216;freeze frames&#8217; about one of the Global Goals in teams.
