Roma: it was a loud sound. It comes from the back of our mouth.<\/p>\n
Luke: we learned the \u2018d\u2019 sound.<\/p>\n
Anna: it is a dark blue sound.<\/p>\n
Luke: it means it is a noisy or loud sound.<\/p>\n
Shea: we were using cubes to make words. I made the word \u2018gut\u2019.<\/p>\n
Carter: Your gut is in your tummy.<\/p>\n
Mara: we made \u2018d\u2019 for dog. I coloured the dog in dark blue because \u2018d\u2019 is a loud sound.<\/p>\n

Numeracy<\/u><\/p>\n
Celine: we were using 10 frames.<\/p>\n
Scott: we all had a partner for number talks.<\/p>\n
Paul: when the teacher asks you to do something with the 10 frame you try to copy the teacher.<\/p>\n
Shea: we were making numbers with numicon. I made 5 with a 2 and a 3 to make 5.<\/p>\n
Layla: roll the dice and move the play-doh tub at snakes and ladders. I landed on 3 and 4 and 7 and up to 10.<\/p>\n
Freya: we were playing with building bricks with numbers on them and what you needed to do was find 0, 1 then 2 and me and Shea made a big tower.<\/p>\n

Cinema Trip<\/span><\/p>\n Anna: we watched Flying the Nest<\/p>\n Roma: the little bird got stolen.<\/p>\n Carter: a bad bird came along and fox tried to eat them. I know the \u2018g\u2019 sound. A word that begins with \u2018g\u2019 is a goat.<\/p>\n Logan: I liked doing number work. I liked doing bunny ears.<\/p>\n Igor: I liked using rekenreks. I can make 3.<\/p>\n Pati: I liked counting the cubes. I put them in adding machines.
