We know the m is a red sound because we use our lips to make this sound and c is a yellow sound because when we shine the torch in our mouth we can see what the back of our tongue is doing to make this sound. The back of our tongue scrapes the back of our mouth.<br \/>\nWe love the following songs which help us with our sounds:<br \/>\nhttps:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=JXq2_f6TV5E<br \/>\nhttps:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=C-g13UbDxu0<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>We experienced a writing lesson for the first time this week, our success criteria was to hold our pencil correctly, use the sounds which we know (m and C) and to be able to talk about our writing. We shared our favourite part of primary 1 so far in our writing.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>This week we had PE with Mr Mc Curdy and we loved learning to travel around the hall in different ways and play games with the parachute. We had to use really good listening skills in PE this week.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>On Friday we drew our own picture of a dinosaur for our topic and then we painted our dinosaur. We done a great job not mixing the paints and even painted the landscape around our dinosaur. They were all so happy to see us and we almost felt famous. We took a photo of them with our iPad and we will be drawing a picture of them next week.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>We paid a visit to the nursery this week to visit the morning and afternoon children, we loved visiting our old friends.<\/p>\n<p>We can\u2019t wait to see our class photo when it is published!
