When it is O\u2019clock the big hand points to the 12.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>At our independent station we used the half past clock face fans. One person had to call out a time and we had to show the correct clock face.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/wl\/stniniansps\/files\/2017\/05\/IMG_8379.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-16430\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/wl\/stniniansps\/files\/2017\/05\/IMG_8379-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>To evaluate our understanding we went outdoors and used the playground as a clock. Miss Boyes called out different times and we had to record them correctly.<\/p>\n<p>We really enjoyed showing what we know outdoors in the sunshine.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/wl\/stniniansps\/files\/2017\/05\/IMG_8383.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-16432\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/wl\/stniniansps\/files\/2017\/05\/IMG_8383-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" \/><\/a><a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/wl\/stniniansps\/files\/2017\/05\/IMG_8382.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-16431\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/wl\/stniniansps\/files\/2017\/05\/IMG_8382-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>We have\u00a0 been practising our letter-join this week in class and Miss Boyes is seeing an improvement in our letter formation.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>In writing this week, we have been learning how to write a description for a setting using our 5 senses.<br \/>\nRyan \u201cWe know that the 5 senses are to see, smell, hear, touch and taste.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>We wrote a description for the Fairy land setting.<\/p>\n<p>Here are some examples:<br \/>\nLilly- \u201cI can hear the giant roaring and stamping.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Ana- \u201cI can hear a cackling witch on a jaggy broomstick.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Ahmad-\u201cI can smell yummy fruit and chocolate cake.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Vanessa-\u201cI can hear a bird cheeping.\u201d<br \/>\nAlice- \u201cI saw a furry, soft bear.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>In art we have finished off our symmetrical butterflies, they look beautiful and we added glitter to them.<\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s been lovely and sunny this week, we have enjoyed completing the daily mile in the sun!<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/wl\/stniniansps\/files\/2017\/05\/IMG_8390-225x300.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<p>In class we have been busy practising for our assembly. It is on Friday the 12<sup>th<\/sup> of May at 11am. Remember you are welcome to come back to our classroom to complete fun fairyland activities.
