{"id":14003,"date":"2016-12-02T12:44:17","date_gmt":"2016-12-02T12:44:17","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/wl\/stniniansps\/?p=14003"},"modified":"2016-12-02T22:35:20","modified_gmt":"2016-12-02T22:35:20","slug":"primary-23-weekly-news-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/wl\/stniniansps\/2016\/12\/02\/primary-23-weekly-news-2\/","title":{"rendered":"Primary 2\/3 Weekly News"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>It has been another busy week in Primary 2\/3! \u00a0Mrs Keegan and Mrs Howley are really proud of the children and all of their hard work.<\/p>\n<p>The children would like to let you know about some of their highlights:<\/p>\n<p>Maya liked learning the colours in Spanish and using them to play a game.<\/p>\n<p>Levente, Annayah and Zuzanna liked learning about gravity when we investigate how a helter skelter works in our Funfair topic.<\/p>\n<p>James has enjoyed joining letters in handwriting.<\/p>\n<p>Oma loved learning about 3D shapes in maths.<\/p>\n<p>Andrew and Rachel loved exploring money in our Funfair topic and deciding which coins to use for different rides.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/wl\/stniniansps\/files\/2016\/12\/IMG_1929.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-14030\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/wl\/stniniansps\/files\/2016\/12\/IMG_1929-300x300.jpg\" alt=\"img_1929\" width=\"300\" height=\"300\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Carly liked writing an imaginative story about a visit to the Funfair. \u00a0We thought about sights, sounds and smells and everyone produced fantastic writing!<\/p>\n<p>Maeve liked when our surprise visitor, &#8216;Terence&#8217; popped in to our class on Thursday to help us with our writing.<\/p>\n<p>Aaron liked learning about Advent and painting an advent wreath.<\/p>\n<p>Matthew loved talking about maths to our visitors during our numeracy review on Wednesday.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/wl\/stniniansps\/files\/2016\/12\/IMG_1930.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-14032\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/wl\/stniniansps\/files\/2016\/12\/IMG_1930-300x300.jpg\" alt=\"img_1930\" width=\"300\" height=\"300\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Alishba has loved rehearsing for the Nativity play and thinks that our Primary 2s are doing a great job!<\/p>\n<p>Calvin has enjoyed skip counting in 2s, 3s, 5s and 10s during our maths lessons.<\/p>\n<p>Chloe really enjoyed yoga because she thinks that it helps her learn better.<\/p>\n<p>Have a lovely weekend.<\/p>\n<p>From Mrs Howley, Mrs Keegan and Primary 2\/3<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>It has been another busy week in Primary 2\/3! \u00a0Mrs Keegan and Mrs Howley are really proud of the children and all of their hard work.
