Happy Maths week!
Some of our maths week activities this week included looking at Tangrams, multi step word problems and negative numbers. Today we worked in groups to solve clues to find the culprit in our murder at the movies problem;
There's been a murder!
Today we worked in groups solving clues which lead us to the culprit – thanks to @TwinklScotland for a wonderful resource – we had to use a range of mathematical strategies in collaboration with each other to find the guilty one!#MathsWeekScotland pic.twitter.com/Lz8TtvygoC

Tangrams proved super tricky – maybe it is easier using the online game?!

Have a go as a family – which of you is the best problem solver?!
Our Risk Factory visit was exciting – all of P7 together!
We don’t want to say too much to keep the mystery alive for future classes.. but we were given the opportunity to react to a number of different scenarios;
What would your child do if they were in a house and a fire started?
What would they say if they had to phone 999, do they know what information they would need?
Can your child keep themselves safe by making safe choices and following safety information?
There were a number of interesting discussions had on the day – the fire brigade supplied us with leaflets, but we will continue to look into fire safety, especially in the run up to Bonfire Night.
Next week we will be presenting short 2 minute presentations on our animal science topic!
I can’t wait to hear them all đ
Some of us chose pieces of work for our WOW wall today – if you child has a device that they can bring to use in school, I can highly recommend downloading the OneNote app and logging in using their Glow login – it makes it much easier to access their profile. We have a range of devices in class that can also be used for this đ
 Ambra is really proud of her Wonder drawing Aria is really proud of her Wonder poemAbi is really proud of the drawing she did for our class charter Ryan is really proud of his character study
Have a great weekend!
