St. Francis’ familiar prayer is as powerful today as ever: Make me a channel of your peace – what ways would you rewrite his prayer for your own life? Make me a channel of your peace when I disagree with someone else. Make me a channel of your peace when a difficult situation calls for kindness. Make me a channel of your peace when others are being disrespectful. Make me a channel of your peace when others are being rude. Make me a channel of your peace when I want to lash out at someone else.

Dear God, let peace begin with me.  Amen.

It was fantastic to see so many children take part in our Lenten challenges last week.

Lent Challenges w-b 19th Feb

Today’s challenge is to start a box called ‘Share with Others’ and put in 1 item you no longer need or use. Fill the box during Lent and hand it in to a local charity shop.

Today’s challenge is to pray for others.

Dear God,

Thank You that You are loving and forgiving.

Help us to love people in the same way as You have loved us.

Help us do generous things for others because we love You.

Amen.

Lenten Challenges are back! These daily challenges give us an opportunity as a school family to reflect, re-choose and re-shape our lives. Lent gives us the chance to share the concepts of prayer, fasting and almsgiving with our children.
