P3 Mrs Caskie and Mrs Keegan 3.4.20

Good morning P3!  Would love to hear from lots of you this morning.  Let me know what you are up to and how you’re getting on with your home learning!

Reviewing our Learning

Today we are going to review our learning for the week and do some self-assessment tasks.  How have you got on with your learning this week?  Record your two stars and a wish for this week’s learning  in your jotter or on your OneNote profile.

Literacy

Our writing task this week was to write a recount about either a day out, going to the swimming pool or a  visit to the park.

The success criteria for this task was:

  • to include a title
  • to use capital letters and full stops
  • to use past tense verbs
  • to use time sequence words
  • to include a personal comment at the end

Today, read over your recount and self assess your work using the success criteria above.  If you can find a pink pen or pencil you can underline in pink where you have achieved your success criteria.  If you have a green pen or pencil you can underline in green an area that you would like to improve. Share your self assessment with a family member.

Maths

In Maths this week we have been working with coins up to £1.00.  How confident do you feel in your learning?  Draw a traffic light in your jotter or use your OneNote profile to review your learning. Use the picture below to help you.

We hope that you all stay safe and well over the Easter holidays and we look forward to sharing more learning with you on Monday 20th April.  We are so proud of all of the fantastic learning that you have all been doing.

  1. Christopher is just about to have a shot on his big sisters beam for his PE. He will also review his learning. Thank you both. Have a lovely Easter. X
