P6 Weekly News

Another busy week in P6. Here are some of our highlights:

Kate: This week we have been planning Science talks and presenting them to the class to be assessed.

Pawel: We all chose different strategies for our presentations. Some of us prepared Sways, Power Points and I Movies. We all really enjoyed doing this.

Carly: We were introduced to Marty the Robot and we learned how to program them. We all thought it was really fun especially when he danced and played football!

Orla: In Maths we started practising our mental strategies for addition and subtraction.

Richard: In Writing we all wrote a recount about something we did during our half term holiday and we self-assessed our work.

Jack: In P.E. we all chose the gymnastic skills we are going to focus on this term. We chose strength, speed and flexibility.

Niamh: We all chose our new Numeracy, Literacy and Health and Wellbeing goals for this term.

Lennon: We all completed our hand pictures by adding five adults that we can trust from school and at home, and then we decorated them.

Seamus: We also thought about Article 31: All children have the right to rest and play and we discussed what this right means to us.

Angel: We all continued to read our reading books and some of us and some of us answered comprehension questions.

Sophie YM: In R.E. we all copied and decorated a prayer for Mary.

Have a great weekend!
