Happy New Year to everyone. P2 have been thinking about their hopes for this year and we all spent some time filling in three stars, a hope at school, a hope at home and a hope for the world! It was a lovely way to start the week.
We also revisited our class charter and reminded ourselves of the three important school rules; READY, RESPECTFUL and SAFE. We drew new pictures to show these rules in action and these will be displayed over the next week.
P2 have started to look at how to join up our writing we are using the programme Letterjoin to help us. If you would like to try it at home google Letterjoin and the username is ninians and the password is school. Happy joining 🙂
In Numeracy we are looking at groupings and repeated addition to find out how many altogether. This will lead us into learning about multiplication. We are also looking at time as a Maths focus. We will be revising O’Clock and Half Past and then moving onto looking at quarter to and past.
Next week we will start our home learning again so look out for the homework bags and jotter coming home on Monday.
Have a lovely weekend.
Eve has enjoyed being back at school with her friends. She is keen that we use the programme to learn at home too!
