Kerr picked the name of our blog this week.

Writing

Adam: “everything in our classroom was upside down.”

Rutendo: “there was a monster in our classroom and turned our classroom upside down.”

Sophie: “he turned the chairs and tables upside down.”

Casper: “I think the lizard turned the classroom upside down.”

Esmee: “I think it was Mrs Gardner.”

Marcel: “I think it was Mrs Purdie.”

Patryk: “Mrs Purdie is naughty and she likes everything upside down.”

Jakub: “Mrs Purdie was wearing high heels and if she was wearing high heels then she can reach the things to turn them high heels but if she wasn’t wearing high heels she couldn’t do it.”

Number Work

Kaitlyn: “we had to sit on the upside down chair or on the floor to do number work because everything was upside down.”

Stefan: “I know that 9 add 2 is 11.”

Kaimee: “We were counting in 2’s.”

Daniel: “2, 4, 6, 8, 10, 12, 14, 16, 18, 20”

MacKenzie: “I know some sums. 1+1 is 2 1+2 is 3.

PE

Jarred: “I liked on the ropes and climbing on them and swinging. This gives me exercise and gets me fit.”

Jakub: “I was balancing on the benches and people helped me.”

Casper: “I was throwing bean bags into hula hoops. I scored zero points.”

Kyle: “I scored 10 points.”

Kaitlyn: “We copied some exercise in the hall from Joe Wicks to get fit.”

Oliver: “I done the daily mile.”

Reading

Rutendo: “We got new books. My book was called ‘The Bus’.”

Adam: “My book was jungle shorts.”

Kayla: “My book was Robin Hood.”

Stefan: “My books was Drumsticks.”

Patryk: “My book was On The Mat.”

Patryk: “We had a vowel house that was all mixed up.”

Rutendo: “We had to put the vowel house in order.”

Play

Sophie: “I was playing doctors.”

Kaitlyn: “You can play in the sand pit and you had to match the sums.”

Jakub: “Making a Gruffalo.”

Poppy: “We were making cards for who we want as our new teachers. I made one for Miss Boyes.”

Hayley: “I made a card for Miss Boyes.”

Kerr: “We had to draw around peoples bodies and draw in the missing parts.”

Jakub: “You can make your own clock too.”

  1. What a drama in the P1M classroom this week that saw all you furniture upside down. I very much enjoyed hearing about all your suggestions about who did it and reading your stories about what happened – Fantastic work!
