We have been busy again this week. Here are some of our comments:
Matt: We have been learning about 2D and 3D shapes this week.
Lorena: We carried on with our drama scenes about being locked in a pyramid and we focused on facing the audience and speaking clearly and loudly.
Taylor: In maths a group of us were able to make 3D shapes using straws and marshmallows and another group used paper.
Ethan: We talked about 3D nets in maths.
Rebecca: We listened to music in writing and wrote about how it made us feel.
Chloe: we played Dodgeball and we carried on making our Egyptian masks.
Beth: We continued with our Egypt research and we are going to present our Power points and posters to the class next week.
Have a great weekend!
Primary 5 and Mrs Reeves
Sounds like another very exciting week for the boys and girls. I know Taylor has loved working hard on her 6 times table and showing her dad and I that shes learnt it off by heart and is now trying hard with her 9 times table! Marshmallows in maths! Well now we know why shes taking such an interest! Think i may adopt this with homework 😜 shes also loving Drama just now and thoroughly enjoyed her first week at Glee club. Have a lovely weekend! 😀
Aww primary 5 I love your 3D shapes, they are superb, I can tell you have really worked hard to make sure they are perfect. Today I was lucky enough to have a look at your talking book with some of your class mates, I particularly liked your section on pyramids linked to your class topic! Miss Smyth 😀
Beth was really looking forward to presenting her Egypt PowerPoint with her group today. She has enjoyed working on this. Great 3D shapes!
