P3 HOME LEARNING ACTIVITIES FRIDAY 27th MARCH MRS CASKIE AND MRS KEEGAN

Good Morning P3.

Core Grid Week 1 P3

It is  a bit grey and drizzly  this morning but I’m looking forward to seeing all of your amazing work.   Remember that you can record your learning on the home learning page in your OneNote profile or in your jotter.  Each day we check the OneNote profiles and will leave feedback there for you.

How are you getting on with writing your description?  Remember, you can write about a hedgehog, your favourite toy or a pencil case.  Try to include a  title, characteristics and an evaluation.  Don’t forget capital letters and full stops.

If you are having any difficulty with any of the home learning activities please remember to ask your question in the comments section below. We will try to answer your question as soon as we are able to.

Numeracy

Today we’re going to solve a challenge!  Visit the nrich website for details  – click here.

The problem is that all the numbers have fallen off our class number square and they’re lying in a pile on the floor!  There’s only five minutes to go before school starts and we need the number square.

Can you find a quick way of putting the numbers back in their right places on the grid?

Where will you start?

Use the comments box  below to share your strategy for putting the number square back together.

Literacy

To support your learning in spelling, we have set up a Sumdog Spelling Challenge which will help you to learn the spelling words for your group.  The P3 Spelling Challenge is open today.

Have a lovely day P3.
