PRIMARY 3 25TH MARCH Mrs Caskie and Mrs Keegan

Good morning P3.  Please find below some ideas/activities to support your weekly grid learning.  Remember that you can record your learning in your jotter or on your OneNote profile.

Home Learning Grid

Core Grid Week 1 P3

How are you getting on with handwriting on your home learning grid?  Use the comments section on the blog to let us know.  This week we are working on – i, l, t, u, w and e.  Use the Letter Join website to help you.  Let us know if you need the login details.  Keep thinking about starting points and letter size as you form your letters carefully.  If you would like an extra challenge, visit the ‘easy words’ section on the Letter Join website and try joining your letters to write ill, it, lilt and tilt.

If you are having any difficulty with any of the home learning activities please remember to ask your question in the comments section. We will try to answer your question as soon as we are able to.

Literacy

Treasure Hunt Challenge – Have a look around the house  and see if you can find an object starting with each letter of your name. Take a picture of your objects and upload to your OneNote profile or record in your jotter.

Numeracy

This week we are working on addition and you have an addition task to complete on your home learning grid.  Try this pyramid challenge from Count on Us Education to improve your addition skills – it is great fun!  Perhaps you could make your own pyramid challenge for a family member.

Remember to post a comment if you need any help. If you were not in school last week and therefore do not have your jotter you can collect this from school at a time that suits you.

Have a great day.
