December already!! and it hit the Nursery with a bang. What have we been up to lately?
Well we had a visitor from a local Policeman to talk to us about keeping ourselves safe and how they help us. Then we had a visit from a Dentist to tell us about keeping our teeth healthy.
Scottish Dancing has started in our P.E classes with Mr McCurdy, children from the P.7 class have been working alongside our children to teach them the steps and to count to 8.
Who could forget our Nativity performances also!! Both performances were so well attended, thank you to each and every one of you who attended.
Erin from the morning session created the most special heartwarming pictures for our songs, all on her own!!
Christmas festivities continue in the Nursery, the children have been creating the most wonderful decorations and personal items to bring home next week. This week we made Gingerbread Men and listened to the Story.
We have all had the best time this month and the festivities are set to continue into next week for our Christmas Parties !!!
NEXT WEEK IN NURSERY
MONDAY –
TUESDAY– CHRISTMAS PARTY FOR THE AM CHILDREN AND ANY FULL DAY CHILDREN NOT IN ON A TUESDAY OR WEDNESDAY.
SANTA WILL BE CALLING IN AT 11.30 PLEASE COME BACK TO SEE THE JOY ON YOUR CHILD’S FACE.
PLEASE NOTE THE CHILDREN WHO ARE NOT USUALLY IN ATTENDANCE FROM A FULL DAY PROVISION MUST BE ACCOMPANIED BY AN ADULT AT THE PARTY.
WEDNESDAY – CHRISTMAS PARTY FOR THE PM CHILDREN AND ANY FULL DAY CHILDREN WHO ARE IN ON THIS DAY.
SANTA WILL BE CALLING AT 3PM PLEASE COME BACK AND SEE THE JOY ON YOUR CHILD’S FACE.
AS ABOVE OTHER FULL DAY CHILDREN NOT IN ATTENDANCE ON EITHER OF THESE DAYS CAN CHOOSE ONE PARTY TO COME TO, BUT MUST BE ACCOMPANIED BY AN ADULT.
THURSDAY- IS OUR LAST DAY FOR THE CHILDREN.
ALL CHILDREN WILL RETURN ON MONDAY THE 6TH OF JANUARY 2020. THE NURSERY CHILDREN WILL BE IN ON THE IN-SERVICE DAY
HAVE THE MOST AMAZING FESTIVE PERIOD AND WE ALL LOOK FORWARD TO WELCOMING YOU BACK AFTER THE HOLIDAYS!!

What a wonderful month it has and will be in the nursery. Lovely to see the festivities that the children are enjoying. Cannot wait to see their faces when Santa comes to visit. Marry Christmas and a happy new year from our family to yours x
Lovely to hear all about what has been happening. Erin now wants to be a policewoman after the visit and she took great pleasure in telling me she had eaten the gingerbread man without leaving me any!:) the nativity was fantastic. A credit to all the nursery staff for bringing it together. Thank you for all you have done this term and looking forward to the new year.
