What a busy week! I feel like we have earned our long weekend after this week!
It was a big week for our class as we prepared for our first class mass of the year. We used our lolly sticks to assign jobs, having them on a first come, first served basis – some of the jobs we needed doing were readers, offertory, slideshow technicians and music technicians! Father Simon thanked the class for a lovely mass 🙂
Writing this week was a roaring success as we wrote free verse poetry from the viewpoint of Auggie and Via from our class novel, Wonder. A few examples were posted to twitter and some others were added to our wall display.

A huge thank you to the families who came along to our ‘Meet the Family’ event on Thursday evening! Mrs Scott and I enjoyed meeting, chatting and getting to know you all 🙂 if you weren’t able to make it, I have popped some information home with the children today for you to enjoy together over the weekend!
