NURSERY NEWS

WHAT A WEEK!!!

This week was so fun filled and eventful from Monday all the way through to Friday 🙂

Monday gave us two birthdays, Chloe and Harvey from the morning group both turning 4.

Tuesday was our achievement assembly in school. Two children from the nursery given accolade from the whole school during this. Kian for now being able to ride his bike, well done Kian!! and Sophia M who achieved a new belt in tiger cubs, Well done Sophia!!

Wednesday was our trip to the five sisters zoo. All the children were so well behaved and had such a fun time looking at the animals and handling some of them too!! After lunch all the children had the chance to burn off some steam in the soft play area and then it was time to get on the bus for home. What a fantastic place to visit and I hope your child has shared some of their experiences from the day.

Thursday gave the children the chance to make invitations for our Grandparents celebration next week and the pm children made a very special gift for their Mummies for Mothers Day on Sunday.

Friday was fun packed and flew past quickly with the am children making their gifts and getting the chance to play outdoors to end the week.

  1. Kians had a fantastic week at nursery. He loved every moment of the zoo trip and came home a power of information telling us every animal he seen and all the different names of the enclosures etc. Then Thursday getting to celebrate his upcoming birthday really made his week extra special. He’s had the best day today for his birthday. We have to say as a family we are very sad to see Mrs McDonald leaving but totally understand her future lays with her beautiful grand daughter and what a very lucky little lady indeed. Mrs McDonald has been amazing with both our children and we will miss her very much. Xx

    1. Thank you so much for sharing this Mrs Quinn. We had a ball at the Zoo and yip Kian loved his birthday celebration x As a staff we agree with your sentiments in regards to Mrs MacDonald. She’s been a big part of our nursery family for a long time and will be missed. Join us on Tuesday at Grandparents Day to say our final goodbyes xx

  2. Amelie loved the visiting the zoo on Wednesday and was excited to tell us about all of the different animals that she was allowed to touch! She is more brave than her mummy!! She enjoyed the bus ride, playing in the soft play and having her packed lunch. She liked trading some of her packed lunch with Regan 😍
She enjoyed making the mothers day gift too, and was keen to advise that we have to share it on Sunday 😉 It was lovely to go to the Mothers Day afternoon with Amelie and James on Friday. The community links committee arranged a lovely event as always 😍 We hope all the mummy’s in the school have a lovely Mothers Day on Sunday 💚💛

    1. Amelie triaging her packed lunch 😀 love it !! She wasn’t the only child asking to “share” the Mother’s Day gift either 😊
Have a lovely Mothering Sunday with your family Mrs Taylor xx
Thank you for your continued support not only in the nursery, but on the blog every week !! X
