Teacher Voice

Another busy week here in P6/7 as you can see. The children continue to work hard in class and are challenging themselves to use their higher order thinking skills across learning.

Armistice Day has a been a recurring theme this week during reading, writing and art. Ask your child or have a look at the lovely display we have created, here’s a sneaky peek! Remember to have a 1 minute silence at 11am on 11/11/18.

All children have now started their OneNote Profiles using GLOW. They have typed up their goals and community profile for this term. Please encourage them to use this profile at home to add any wider achievements. Well done to some of our class for putting their homework on OneNote for me.

Well done to some of our P7 pupils for representing our school this week at the Sportshall festival – Miss Burns was very impressed with their attitude, effort and behaviour!

Well done to AIlie from P6 who represented our school at the JRSO meeting this morning, she will be sharing this with us next week in class.

Well done to our lead learner Ambra this week who received the praise postcard home!

  1. Thank you for your sharing your learning with us this week. I loved the display you have created to mark Armistice Day and I will pop up to your classroom to read your writing and see your art work. It’s so important that we continue to mark these important events in our history. Lest we forget.

I can’t wait to see your new profiles too. Thank you, to you and your teacher for all the hard work going into making these a success!
