P5 Homework recap

Hi there,

As we have not had our homework diaries home this week some children have asked if I could blog the criteria for our presentation homework due on Tuesday 24th.  Please see below.

IDL and Maths – To be prepared for week beginning Tuesday 24^th May

Research a food product or company and create a presentation about it.  Your presentation can include a powerpoint to support it or props etc.  You should aim to speak for 4 minutes.

Some ideas for your presentation,

• What is the logo and/or slogan for the product?
• What is the history of the product (what it looked like years ago)?
• Include sales figures or numerical facts and any relevant graphs or charts.
• What does the future hold for your chosen product.

I will score your presentation out of ten using the following criteria,

3 points – preparation of presentation (notes/props/powerpoint/content)

3 points – confidence of your voice and how clearly you speak

3 points – eye contact with audience

1 point – your talk lasts between 3 and 5 minutes.
