Daily Lent Challenge – Day 2

Today’s Challenge – You have been given a SCIAF ‘wee box’ and during Lent we will all try to raise some money for the amazing work which SCIAF do. Do some research on SCIAF and try to find out at least one  fact about the charity and their work.

  1. S.C.I.A.F mean Scottish Catholic International aid fund , they need lots of money to help people that haven’t got enough food .

  2. SCIAF raise money for people in poor countries like Africa to help them buy food, have a home and to help them be able to go to school. From Taylor Quinn

  3. SCIAF is a Scottish charity that help people in poor Countries. They raise money and buy tools and help families to grow their own food and provide for their families. From Beth😜

  4. SCIAF has four key themes which help guide their work in some of the poorest communities in the world. These are:

    1.Farming and Livelihoods
    2. Peacebuilding
    3. Education
    4. Emergency Work

    SCIAF is supported by many celebrities too. Gordon Strachan (Scotland Manager) is one of the celebrities backing this year’s campaign.
