{"id":57765,"date":"2026-08-28T12:24:24","date_gmt":"2026-08-28T12:24:24","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/wl\/stmaryspolbeth\/?p=57765"},"modified":"2026-08-28T12:24:24","modified_gmt":"2026-08-28T12:24:24","slug":"primary-3-friday-28th-august","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/wl\/stmaryspolbeth\/2026\/08\/28\/primary-3-friday-28th-august\/","title":{"rendered":"Primary 3 &#8211; Friday 28th August"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The routines in Primary 3 are well underway and children are comfortable in their classroom and within the school environment.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\">Read, Write, Ink groups have been firmly established and children know when, where and with which adults they are learning for Literacy.<\/p>\n<p>The children have enjoyed learning about road trains this week which has been linked to our descriptive writing where we identified nouns and adjectives from a descriptive text.<\/p>\n<p>Our numeracy tasks have included demonstrating different ways to partition numbers up to 99 using concrete materials and the whole\/part model.<\/p>\n<p>We had an exciting Assembly this morning where the Primary 7 candidates for House Captains and Vice Captains began their election campaigns to win votes.
