Primary 1 have had lots of fun exploring den \u00a0building skills. Working as a team we created some very unique dens. We had to think carefully about where to set our dens, what we would use and if the dens to survive a full day. This involved lots of collaboration and creative thinking skills, as well as lots of fun \ud83d\ude00<\/p>\n

We have been enjoying our topic, Scotland, \ud83c\udff4\udb40\udc67\udb40\udc62\udb40\udc73\udb40\udc63\udb40\udc74\udb40\udc7fand this week we have been learning about Robert Burns and in particular enjoyed the poem To a Mouse \ud83d\udc2d . In PE we have also been learning some Scottish dancing, everyone has enjoyed this and showed good skills in learning the dances.<\/p>\n

During outdoor learning we ventured to the local woodland area where our learning focus was on pH testing on natural objects, we talked about the pH scale and tried to predict where each item would sit on the scale.<\/p>\n
