Over the last 2 weeks, as part of a whole school topic, P2 have been learning all about recycling. \u267b\ufe0f<\/p>\n

We started our topic by having a pupil voice planning session as to what we would like to learn and what we already knew. We read through our story book and made a list in our floor book.<\/div>\n

We learned about the different coloured bins, what goes in each bin, why it is important that we separate it and where each the rubbish goes. We created our own bins by reusing cardboard boxes, painting them different colours and labelling them. We then used these for a full week to practise separating our rubbish. We spoke about trying to do this at home too and encouraging our family to recycle.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
