P5 were delighted to win a prestigious award for literacy this week. In January, we did a lot of literacy work on our Scots Poetry topic including writing a biography of Rabbie Burns, learning and reciting his poems, creating our own Scots poems \u00a0and hosting a Burn supper for parents. We met benchmarks across reading, writing and listening and talking.
\nP5 won the bronze award for second level, which was presented to \u00a0the class by Mark Neil, West Lothian\u2019s Education Officer.
