St. Mary\u2019s RC Primary School is a denominational school serving the communities of Polbeth and West Calder.\u00a0 We work in partnership with the Parish of Our Lady and St. Bridget to provide spiritual care for our pupils and we aim to support the children as they develop their Christian and moral values. Polbeth Nursery is housed in a separate building within the extensive school grounds. We have an Autistic Spectrum Disorder Resource within the school.<\/p>\n
St. Mary\u2019s is an integral part of the local community, enjoying strong links with a number of local organisations,\u00a0St. Kentigern\u2019s Academy and cluster schools.<\/p>\n
The school values are at the heart of everything that happens at St. Mary\u2019s. Staff, pupils and parents take great pride in the school and the achievements of its pupils.\u00a0The supportive Parent Council works alongside the staff in supporting the school\u2019s priorities in improving children\u2019s education and in fundraising activities which help enhance the wider life of the school.\u00a0The school is continually striving to improve the quality of pupil\u2019s learning experiences.<\/p>\n
