Week beginning 15/6/26
On Monday we explored rhythm and beat with Cheef Chebe on the African drums. We also loved listening to his stories and having a turn to play the Balafon.
On Tuesday, we had a visit from a firefighter and she taught us all more about Fire Safety. We learned some very important lessons about how we can be safe in the event of a fire, including having a fire escape plan at home.
On Wednesday we finished off our Titanic topic work with a choice of activities. We could finish a 3D cabin; draw the Titanic using an online tutorial or make a 3D plasticene model of the Titanic. We are so proud of our creations.
On Thursday, in our Digital Technologies lesson, we learned more about staying safe online and how to report online bullying on different social media platforms. We developed lots of our meta-skills during this lesson. Ask us what we remember about meta-skills.
