Good afternoon Primary 6,<\/p>\n

I hope you have had a good morning.<\/p>\n

This afternoon we are going to continue with our Jacobites project and find out what happened after the Battle of Culloden in April 1746. \u00a0Read the passage and the Court Warrant and try to answer some of the questions afterwards. \u00a0Do you think Archibald Chisholm broke the law deliberately, what are your reasons for thinking that way?<\/p>\n

The National Archives have a section with lots of Jacobite letters and information. Have a look at it here: https:\/\/www.nationalarchives.gov.uk\/education\/resources\/jacobite-1745\/#teachers-notes<\/p>\n

You might find the secret portrait object and laws to control Scotland particularly interesting. \u00a0All of the written letters have transcripts so you can read them more easily.<\/p>\n

Also this afternoon, we are going to use the egg boxes and\/or toilet roll tubes you’ve saved over the past week. \u00a0Here are some ideas for the artwork you can create using them:<\/p>\n
