Complete in your jotter or on paper.\u00a0 https:\/\/mathsstarters.net\/numoftheday\/<\/a><\/p>\n Literacy<\/u><\/p>\n Today, we are going to be using a \u2018Thesaurus\u2019. https:\/\/www.thesaurus.com\/<\/a>\u00a0 Remember a Thesaurus is used to find\u00a0other words that mean the same thing or something similar. Another name for this is a Synonym.<\/p>\n Maths<\/u><\/p>\n Today we are going to continue thinking about working out change.<\/p>\n -Set up a shop\/cafe in your house, label the products with different prices up to \u00a32 and\/or make a price list. You have \u00a35 to spend. Buy two items and work out how much change you will have left.<\/p>\n -Willy Wonka\u2019s Chocolate shop is back open for business, for deliveries only. Work out how much change each of the customers are due back. Will wonka Hot<\/a> willy wonka Mild<\/a><\/p>\n Why not practice counting of money<\/p>\n -If you have a piggy bank full of coins, why not play a game.
