Today is slightly trickier as we are going to be creating a piece of discursive writing, this is where you must share both sides of the argument, even though you might not agree with one.<\/p>\n<p>The PowerPoint will give you an explanation of what a discursive piece of writing looks like, and will give step by step examples. The planning sheet will give you some space to write out some of the points you are going to make it your writing \u2013 try to come up with 3 or 4 bullet points for each side of the argument. The template will tell you exactly how to lay out your writing and the super sentence starters are just some ideas of persuasive language that we have used before.
