Daily Challenge<\/strong><\/p>\n Number Talks – How would you solve this problem? 15 x 4? Can you draw and explain your method? How about\u00a016×4, 15×40, 150×4? Choose one and show your strategies.<\/p>\n Numeracy – Fractions<\/strong><\/p>\n Continuing with fractions. We have looked fractions of shapes and now we will compare fractions to see if they are equal. For example 1\/2 is the same as 2\/4. Remember the denominator is at the bottom, it explains how many parts the whole has been split into.\u00a0 The numerator is at the top and explains how many parts of the shape we are talking about. The denominator gets bigger as the shape gets smaller.<\/p>\n This is a black and white fractions wall for you to print and colour or copy.
