Today’s Literacy Work:<\/strong><\/p>\n We are going to be looking at creating a piece of persuasive writing. Before you start your main task have a look through the clip below to give yourself a quick refresh about what persuasive writing is.<\/p>\n https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=hD9arWXIddM<\/a><\/p>\n We all know how important it is to get a good night\u2019s sleep, however sometimes we do not sleep as much as we should. Imagine a new law was being considered where anyone under the age of 13 had to be in bed by no later than 8 o\u2019clock every night \u2013 this is what you are going to write about. It is up to you to create a persuasive text, imagining that you are writing this as a letter to the Scottish Government.
