Miss Smith is so proud of primary 1A for working so hard in their literacy this week. As we had a week off, we were revising our sounds taught so far ‘ m, c, s and p’. We worked in partners looking at different pictures, we had to say each word slowly,\u00a0 then, ‘ chop it up’ and decide whether the m, c, s or p was at the start or end of the word. We even met the two friends ‘.. ck’ for when we hear the ‘ c ‘ sound at the end, like the word ‘ socks’.<\/p>\n

We also finished our leaf crowns but realised when we were making them that they were too long for crowns.<\/p>\n

We also had lots of light bulb and funny moments:<\/p>\n

Sophia: one time papa put a cabbage in my head and he cut it in half and put it on my head<\/em><\/p>\n

Ben: the word points\u00a0 starts with p and ends with s<\/em><\/p>\n
