Hope you have been feeling inspired during your writing lesson this morning! We can\u2019t wait to read the exciting next chapters that you have been writing.<\/p>\n
This afternoon we are going to be doing a bit of science, looking at how important looking after our plant \u2013 particularly important today on \u2018World Earth Day\u2019<\/p>\n
To start with why not take a breath taking (virtual) tour of some of the world\u2019s most beautiful natural attractions. Travel from the Great Barrier Reef, to the icebergs of Alaska, to the volcanoes of Hawaii learning all about what we can do to protect these.<\/p>\n

Why do you think it is important to try and save the places included in the video? Write a short summary about one of the places you studied and what you have learned about it.<\/p>\n If you are able to take a (social distanced) walk with an adult why don\u2019t you look around and see what local plants of wildlife you can see. With permission you could snap a few pictures and then research when you get home to find out the name of the plants and animals. Perhaps you could design an informative poster showing your findings.<\/p>\n If you are unable to get out a walk then the following website will give you lots on information about plants and animals native to Scotland<\/p>\n https:\/\/www.woodlandtrust.org.uk\/about-us\/where-we-work\/scotland\/<\/a><\/p>\n Your task for music today is to learn the Canadian Anthem.
