<\/p>\nAnother fun week of learning in P1C.\u00a0 This week we have been learning about the letter c and the sound it makes.\u00a0 We were able to recall lots words that begin with \u2018c\u2019 and we made cats and had to find \u2018c\u2019 in story books.\u00a0 We practised writing the letter c and wrote a sentence using \u2018I can\u2019 as these are the common words we have been learning.<\/p>\n

This week we have been learning all about the numbers 6 and 7 counting out the amount using lots of different items and also showing different ways to make them 7 = 3 +4 or 5+2.\u00a0 We continued to practise counting to 30 and counting backwards from 20.\u00a0 We also used 10 frames and Numicon to help us learn about the numbers.<\/p>\n
This week we learned about the sense of hearing.\u00a0 We listened to different sounds and had to guess what the sound was, it was lots of fun. \u00a0We also made our own shaker to take home.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n
We looked at the yellow Zone from the Zones of Regulation and discussed how we feel in this zone.\u00a0 We completed a black pen drawing of when we are worried.<\/p>\n
In RE we learned about Mary and celebrated her birthday.\u00a0 We made birthday cards and flowers and made a beautiful wall display.<\/p>\n
On Wednesday we had our first House Group were we got to meet lots of different people and wear our school lanyards.<\/p>\n
Today we were very excited to meet our P7 Buddies.\u00a0 It was great fun chatting to them and they read us a story.\u00a0 We can\u2019t wait to meet up with them again.<\/p>\n
