What another great week of fun and learning in P1C.<\/em><\/p>\n

This week we have been learning about beginning, middle, end in Literacy.\u00a0 We listened to sounds and had to identify the sound was at the beginning, middle or end.\u00a0 \u00a0We also looked at pictures of different animals and people and identify who was at the beginning, middle or end.<\/p>\n

We have been learning about the emotion sadness.\u00a0 We listened to stories about sadness and discussed what makes us sad and what strategies we can you to help us feel happy and calm again.\u00a0 We drew a pen drawing of what makes us sad and tried to write about it.<\/p>\n

In Maths, we have been learning about the numbers 2 and 3. We played \u2018show me, throw me\u2019 and looked at all the different ways to make 2 and 3 using ten frames, numicon, dice, fingers, blocks.\u00a0 We also practised how to write the numbers correctly using whiteboards and large paper on the floor.<\/p>\n

In RE, we have been talking about our gifts and talents. Everyone spoke confidently about their talent and we drew a picture in our jotters to show our talents.<\/p>\n

Ariya \u2018I liked writing the number 2\u2019<\/p>\n

Mikolaj \u2018I liked playing outside\u2019<\/p>\n

Ruaridh \u2018I liked playing with the cars\u2019<\/p>\n

Samuel \u2018I liked playing with our friends\u2019<\/p>\n

Fraser \u2018I liked playing outside with my friends\u2019<\/p>\n

Mrs Russell\u2019s \u2018I loved how confident everyone is at coming over to the teaching table and completing tasks.\u00a0 You are all working very hard and we are very proud of you\u2019<\/p>\n
