This week the Friendly Dragon brought us the story of The Three Little Pigs. We had to complete a challenge to make a house from marshmallows and cocktail sticks. Then The Wolf (a hairdryer) tried to blow them down. Our houses were sturdy so they survived!<\/p>\n

The next challenge we received was a Huff and Puff Challenge. We had to blow different things across the classroom while our partner kept a tally of how many puffs we did. It was great fun!<\/p>\n

We also got to write speech bubbles for the characters from the Three Little Pigs and the staff were so impressed with how confidently we sounded out the words we needed.<\/p>\n

We have been learning some facts about Portugal, our World Cup country. Ask us what the capital city is.<\/p>\n

We made crowns and flags to celebrate Scotland being in the World Cup and wore these on Friday.<\/p>\n

We all agreed our highlight of the week was the Huff and Puff Challenge.<\/p>\n

Congratulations to Eloran who is our Hot Chocolate Winner this week. He did some fantastic writing this week!<\/p>\n
