This week we have been learning about all the events in Holy Week. We drew pictures on a cross to illustrate these events and we added lots of detail. We also created some beautiful paintings, linked to our work on Good Friday, to display in the area.<\/p>\n

We have been revising our sounds and addition\/subtraction skills. We had a special egg hunt in the area where we had to work together to solve the calculations and then to find pictures to match the words on our sheets. It was great fun! We also used eggs with picture magnets in them to practise writing words. We worked well with our partners to do these activities.<\/p>\n

Mrs Ross brought in her rabbit Poppy to see us. This was very exciting, especially when she was running around the classroom.<\/p>\n

On Wednesday, we were invited to see the P7 show Edith’s Wartime Scrapbook. We were so proud of our buddies and the fantastic performance they gave. Mrs Morrison also complimented us on our excellent behaviour.<\/p>\n

The highlight of this week was making our own hopping bunnies!<\/p>\n
