This week we have been learning the sounds \u2018ng\u2019 and \u2018ee\u2019. We can recall lots of words that have these sounds.\u00a0 We have been practising writing these sounds.<\/p>\n
In Topic, we have been learning all about Fireflies and Bee. We learned about the life cycle of a Firefly and listened to lots of interesting facts about them.\u00a0 We made our own Bee which we have displayed on our topic wall.<\/p>\n
In Maths we have continued learning about o\u2019clock using digital and analogue clocks.<\/p>\n
In PE, we have been practising our catching and throwing skills. \u00a0We are getting very good at this.<\/p>\n
On Tuesday, we celebrated the Feast Day of St John Ogilvie.\u00a0 We learned about he life of St John Ogilvie and we practised the chorus of the hymn \u2018St John Ogilvie\u2019.\u00a0 We got a special treat as well.<\/p>\n
On Wednesday, we had a session with the school nursing team all about handwashing. We got to put special \u2018germs\u2019 on our hands and look at them under a special light. We then had to wash our hands and look under the light again to see if we had done it properly.<\/p>\n
