What a fantastic week he have had.\u00a0 This week we celebrated Book Week Scotland we were so excited to find two boxes covered in shiny silver paper on Monday morning.\u00a0 We opened them to find our P1 Book Bags.\u00a0 This week we have completed lots of activities related to the books.<\/p>\n

\u2018Holey Moley\u2019 we looked at rhyming words and we completed rhyming activities.\u00a0 We drew triangle trees to represent the forest.<\/p>\n

\u2018My Pet Star\u2019 \u2013 we discussed how the star felt, we looked at our bedtime routines and also the difference between day and night.<\/p>\n

\u2018One Goose Two Moose\u2019 \u2013 we mearured our height using ice cream cones, we went to Morrisons to buy ice cream and we practised the Green Cross Code.\u00a0 We sorted safe and unsafe places to cross the road.\u00a0 We started to look at coins and had to choose the right coins to pay for ice creams.\u00a0 We also tried to make our own ice cream.<\/p>\n

On Tuesday we had our outdoor session in Deans Woods with Kids Go Wild.\u00a0 We have a great morning were we went on a zip line, slack line and also got to use hammocks.\u00a0 We played in dens and also had free play time.\u00a0 It was cold but we had a great time.<\/p>\n

Today our families came to our P1 Book Week Scotland Assembly and helped us complete tasks related to our Book Bug books.\u00a0 We had lots of fun and after playtime we got to eat the delicious ice cream we bought in the shop.<\/p>\n

Marcel \u2018I liked playing in the dens\u2019<\/p>\n

Mrs Russell \u2013 \u2018I loved watching you all grow in confidence and try new things in our Outdoor Session this week.\u00a0 I was so proud of you all\u2019.<\/p>\n
