This week we have been learning all about Bonfire Safety. We read the story \u2018Firefighter Fred\u2019s Bonfire Night Safety Show\u2019 and then completed a quiz about what we had learned. We got all the answers correct! We then learned about stop, drop and roll and we all demonstrated this perfectly. We talked about phoning 999 in an emergency. We produced some beautiful digital art on Seesaw and make our own fireworks by cutting tissue paper.<\/p>\n

In Literacy, we have been learning the \u2018k\u2019 and \u2018ck\u2019 sounds. We know that \u2018ck\u2019 comes at the end or the middle of a word and we practised spelling words with this sound on Seesaw. We made Bonfire Safety Posters in writing and produced some detailed drawings.<\/p>\n

In Maths, we have been learning about addition. We have been focusing on number bonds of five and we are becoming more confident with this.<\/p>\n

In RE, we learned about All Soul\u2019s Day and made some beautiful candles for a display.<\/p>\n

For Outdoor Learning we went into the playground with P1A. We learned how to make sparks with the flints. We all showed confidence and perseverance with this task.<\/p>\n
