In Literacy we have been learning the sound ‘t’. We read The Tiger Who Came to Tea and we made tiger masks. We had fun pretending to be the tiger and eating all the food. We wrote a sentence all about the Autumn trees and used the word ‘and’.<\/p>\n

In Maths, we have been practising counting and writing our numbers the correct way.<\/p>\n

We looked at a piece of work by Kandinsky and then we used Autumn colours to make a piece of Autumn Art.<\/p>\n

We had fun in the Woodland with our Buddies and we practised sitting at the fire pit. Mr McGurn was very impressed with us.<\/p>\n

Here are some of our personal highlights from this week:<\/p>\n

Mikayla – I enjoyed drawing.<\/p>\n

Alayha – I enjoyed writing about the trees.<\/p>\n

Hanna – I enjoyed reading the book.<\/p>\n

Alfie – I enjoyed doing our sentence.<\/p>\n

Oliver – I enjoyed drawing the trees.<\/p>\n

Victoria – I enjoyed doing the sounds.<\/p>\n

Miss Stebbing – It was lovely to meet all the families during parent consultations this week.<\/p>\n

Congratulations to Mikayla who is our Hot Chocolate Winner this week. She has been trying hard to read words and write the letters the correct way.<\/p>\n

Well done to Aria who is our Reading Champion. She has shown confidence when reading captions and matching the pictures.<\/p>\n
