Hello families of P5B!\u00a0 Here are our highlights this week as recorded by the Blue table:<\/p>\n

Amelia and David have enjoyed the super ending to our class novel, ‘The Midnight Gang’.\u00a0 There was lots of cheers for the happy ending.\u00a0 It had been close to 500 pages!\u00a0 We are excited to see what the new class vote reveals for our next one!<\/p>\n

Flynn said the highlight of his week was when his group won Winning Group of the Week!\u00a0 He picked slime from the treasure chest for his reward.<\/p>\n

Olek and Scott have thought that PE with Mrs Lafferty this week has been great!\u00a0 They have been preparing for their Christmas party by practising the dances and games.<\/p>\n

Georgia and Sean have LOVED making tote bags for the Enterprise Showcase.\u00a0 They have used fabric pens to write positive affirmations on them or drew animated figures.\u00a0 We decided to design them so they could be used all year round.<\/p>\n

Nicolas has also loved preparing centre pieces as his group\u2019s Enterprise idea and carefully used the glue gun under adult supervision to attach real holly.<\/p>\n

Alex said winning the hot chocolate for the Over and Above award was his highlight.\u00a0 Well-deserved Alex!\u00a0 Congratulations.<\/p>\n

My highlight has been our Advent services.\u00a0 It has been special to have gathered together as an Area (P4 and P5s together) to think about what Advent means to us and pray to God in song with our beautiful hymns.\u00a0 This coming Monday, it will be P5B\u2019s turn to lead the service.<\/p>\n

I look forward to seeing you at 9.15am on Friday for our P5 Christmas Enterprise event.\u00a0 The children have been working hard all term to prepare their sustainable decorations to sell to raise money for the charity, Mary\u2019s Meals.\u00a0 Please remember to bring lots of change as we have no card machine facilities or float (given we are a cashless school).\u00a0 P5B items will range from 10p-\u00a33.<\/p>\n

This week will be the last week for homework for this term.<\/p>\n
