Here are our highlights this week as recorded by the Red table:<\/p>\n
Jayden enjoyed playing our weekly Word Boost Corners game.\u00a0 The children either hear one of the words or meaning of the words and if they are standing next to that vocabulary then they are out.\u00a0 This is a class favourite and a good way of revising the words.\u00a0 Jayden reported that \u2018raging\u2019 was his favourite Word Boost word this week. \u00a0The Line Leader gets to choose the music. \ud83c\udfb6<\/p>\n
Rowan liked music with Mr Pentland as it involved the ipads.<\/p>\n
Matthias said the best part of his week were the Child Consecration sessions.\u00a0 P5 are on a prayerful journey for 33 days. \u00a0\ud83d\ude4f Please see the posts on Teams for the days the children are not in school (holidays and weekends).\u00a0 This starts tomorrow.<\/p>\n
Kacper has LOVED our lessons on the Scottish Wars of Independence \ud83c\udff4\udb40\udc67\udb40\udc62\udb40\udc73\udb40\udc63\udb40\udc74\udb40\udc7f.\u00a0 Today the class wrote the first draft of a newspaper article were they had to choose to recount either the death of King Alexander III or the death of Margaret, the Maid of Norway.\u00a0 We learned all about the features of a newspaper article and are so excited to be reporters! \ud83d\udcf0<\/p>\n
Cohen liked the warm-up for PE when \u00a0Anthony was chosen to call out instructions while I set up.\u00a0 Thank you Anthony.<\/p>\n
My highlight has to have been the lessons on the Scottish Wars of Independence.\u00a0 The children have been engrossed in the lessons so far and have used their note taking skills as a basis for their newspaper article content.\u00a0 I can\u2019t wait to see the finished pieces!\u00a0 Good work P5B!<\/p>\n
I hope you enjoy the September holiday and I will see you all on Wednesday.\u00a0 There will be no homework issued next week due to it being a short week.<\/p>\n
