Hello P3A families,<\/p>\n

Here are this week\u2019s highlights from the yellow table:<\/p>\n

Riley liked building a football pitch out of blocks and then playing with a marble for a ball and finger players.<\/p>\n

Ollie said the best part of his week was when we went around the school measuring. First we estimated.\u00a0 Ollie enjoyed measuring a corridor the best and his estimation was very close for a radiator.\u00a0 Good work Ollie!<\/p>\n

Aadya loved Benchball.\u00a0 During June, our PE will be linked to summer games and the Olympics.<\/p>\n

Ethan liked Rounders and loves to record the results in tally marks.<\/p>\n

Vivien said her highlight was music with Mrs Morrison.\u00a0 The class watched\u00a0 A Midsummer\u2019s Night\u2019s Dream on Cbeebies (https:\/\/www.bbc.co.uk\/iplayer\/episode\/b078jltg\/a-midsummer-nights-dream<\/a>)<\/p>\n

Diana said she liked learning about the meaning of the words in The Confiteor Prayer.\u00a0 P3A will be learning to say this prayer during the month of June and should then be able to participate in it during Mass.<\/p>\n

Linda liked writing a non-fiction story called \u2018The Surprise\u2019 that she planned last week.\u00a0 Her story is about how she was surprised in P1 when she found out her friend from nursery was going to be in her class in her new school!\u00a0 That was a great surprise!\u00a0\u00a0 This super story included an \u2018orientation\u2019, \u2018sequence of events\u2019 and concluded with a \u2018personal statement\u2019; all the features of a recount.\u00a0 Well done Linda.<\/p>\n

Hasika loved completing an instructional drawing of 2 hands shaking. This was part of our learning about conflict resolution.<\/p>\n

Laura enjoyed making a teamwork poster with Mrs Brand.<\/p>\n

My highlight was the beautiful singing when we learned the hymn \u2018Peace, Perfect Peace\u2019 (https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=lj9A4klqbqY<\/a>).<\/p>\n

Congratulations to Rory, our hot chocolate award winner this week.<\/p>\n

Lead Learners were Deveena and Hasika.\u00a0 They had the important role of looking out for people who were demonstrating our school rules of being Ready, Respectful and Safe.\u00a0 They also get to say something extra for the blog:<\/p>\n

Deveena – \u201cI liked saying the Rosary\u201d<\/p>\n

Hasika – \u201cI liked making a dog\u2019s house.\u201d<\/p>\n
