Hello P3A families,<\/p>\n

Even though we had a shorter week this week, we still managed to squeeze in many leaning experiences in P3A.\u00a0 Here are this week\u2019s highlights from the yellow table:<\/p>\n

Laura and Linda both said the highlight of this week was brushing and flossing their teeth.\u00a0 Recently, we have been learning about oral health and had a practical session with a timer.\u00a0 The children also enjoyed a song I had made up to help my little sister brush her teeth properly we were kids.<\/p>\n

Vivien and Hasika \u00a0enjoyed continuing their learning about Emotion Words with Mrs Brand.<\/p>\n

Olivia and Diana liked tracking the growth of their plant.\u00a0 We took them home on Friday as you know.\u00a0 It would be super if you were able to send pictures through Seesaw or the school office when the flower blooms.\u00a0 Remind that these plants have edible leaves!\u00a0 There are many ideas online about how to use the petals in cooking.\u00a0 Some can be found here: https:\/\/www.bbc.co.uk\/food\/nasturtium<\/a><\/p>\n

Ollie and Aadya enjoyed football with Miss Whyte.<\/p>\n

Angel loved our learning about the Joyful Mysteries of the rosary.\u00a0 During May, each day at noon, the children pray one decade of the rosary.\u00a0 Moving forward, we are going to focus on one Joyful Mystery each day.\u00a0 Angel liked the one called \u201cPresentation of Jesus at the Temple.\u201d<\/p>\n

My highlight was a recount we read about a boy who made blueberry muffins for his grandma\u2019s birthday.\u00a0 He then wrote an email to his dad in the past tense about what he had done.\u00a0 P3A then went on to make a healthy banana and blueberry warm pudding (one group still have to make them).\u00a0 Like the boy in the recount, we are going to type up how we made it using past tense words.<\/p>\n

Due to it being a short week, we had no new Lead Learners or Hot Chocolate winner.<\/p>\n
