<\/p>\nHello Families of P2<\/p>\n
This week the boys and girls had a great idea to create a class Cafe. They did all of the planning, creating and setting up – showing off all of their amazing skills! Our Cafe is called Flower Cafe and it serves delicious drinks, cakes and snacks. We even made our own cooker!<\/p>\n
In numeracy this week, we continued work on subtraction and began working with money. We learned all of the coins and notes up to \u00a320. In literacy we learned new sounds ‘oe’ and o-e’ and wrote some super predictions about our new reading books.<\/p>\n
Weekly Highlights<\/p>\n
Faye – I liked learning about money.<\/p>\n
Summer – I liked learning the ‘oe’ sound.<\/p>\n
Cameron – I liked writing about our school,<\/p>\n
Samuel – I loved making and playing in the Flower Cafe. I made a menu for it.<\/p>\n
Olga – I liked doing the cafe and learning coins.<\/p>\n
Joshua – I liked doing take away in maths.<\/p>\n
Luca – I liked the Burns poems.<\/p>\n
