We\u2019ve had lots of Christmas fun in Primary 2 this week!<\/p>\n

In Writing, we watched the short film \u2018The Snowman\u2019.\u00a0 The children then imagined that they were the child flying with the snowman, and wrote about all the things they could see on the ground.\u00a0 We were amazed with some of the fantastic adjectives the children used in their descriptions.<\/p>\n

In Maths, we continued to learn about more than, less than and equals to.\u00a0 We were very impressed to see that the children could use the symbols correctly!\u00a0 We also did some work on doubles up to 30.\u00a0 We will continue to work on this next week, but this is something the children could definitely practice at home.<\/p>\n

We have also been making lots of Christmas decorations for our classroom and even some to take home at the end of term.<\/p>\n

Today was crazy clothes\/hair day and the children (and staff) really did go crazy!\u00a0 Here are some of the fantastic crazy styles that the children arrived in:<\/p>\n

Kacper:\u00a0 I loved crazy day!<\/em><\/p>\n

Owen:\u00a0 I enjoyed playing with the K\u2019Nex.<\/em><\/p>\n

Enso:\u00a0 I liked learning the \u2018igh\u2019 sound.<\/em><\/p>\n

Lillian:\u00a0 I liked decorating the paper cookies to make them all different like us.<\/em><\/p>\n

Faye:\u00a0 I enjoyed learning about the more than, less than symbols using the crocodiles.<\/em><\/p>\n

We are very proud of Lillian who is our hot chocolate winner this week!\u00a0 Lillian has been working extremely hard and is always, polite friendly and kind towards others.\u00a0 Well done Lillian!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
