Here are this week\u2019s highlights from the Red table:<\/p>\n
Grace enjoyed singing along to a song we heard for a warm up in Maths.\u00a0 It was about number bonds to ten.\u00a0 The children learned that if they know their number bonds to ten off by heart, that this can help them with larger sums.\u00a0 Look out for how we use our number bonds this way in next week\u2019s maths homework.<\/p>\n
Caiden loved making Halloween cakes with Miss White.<\/p>\n
Hafsah said the best part of her week was playing number bingo in Spanish with Mrs Broadley. \u00a0The children learn numbers to 50 in Primary Three.<\/p>\n
Jiade absolutely loved football this week.\u00a0 We had some football coaches come in and deliver football skills to the children.\u00a0 They all had so much fun!<\/p>\n
Tadwia liked when we examined some pumpkins for Halloween.\u00a0 He was surprised at how heavy they were and remembered that they were called as sphere.<\/p>\n
Tvisha enjoyed listening to our new Wood Boost story, \u2018Wolf\u2019.\u00a0 Her favourite vocabulary was \u2018racket\u2019.<\/p>\n
Jack said the highlight of his week was drawing characters from the Number Bonds song for our maths display.\u00a0 He drew 3 and 7.<\/p>\n
Deveena liked our RE lesson about belonging.\u00a0 We learned that we belong to our family, school and the church.\u00a0 We explored what it means to belong to each.<\/p>\n
My highlight was our lesson on how cars have changed over the years and compared the features.\u00a0 We talked about what we think cars in the future might have.\u00a0 Mrs Brown hoped that they have a built in coffee machine!\u00a0 The children had some super ideas!\u00a0 This was part of our learning about inventions.<\/p>\n
