Hello P2B families!<\/p>\n

Here are our highlights from the Red Table:<\/p>\n

Reesa said the best part of her week was her visit to St Peter\u2019s Church to celebrate \u2018Ascension Thursday\u2019, when Jesus ascended into Heaven.\u00a0 She enjoyed the songs.<\/p>\n

Amy has continued to enjoy learning her 5 Times Table.\u00a0 The children have been learning to make links with division by 5 also.<\/p>\n

Emily-Ann has loved art this week.\u00a0 As part of our topic, Space, the children have been learning about the first moon landing.\u00a0 We watched it on Youtube \u00a0and all pretended to be Neil Armstrong, saying (with an American accent), \u201cOne small step for man, one giant leap for mankind.\u201d\u00a0 Afterwards, we created our own moon landing pictures.\u00a0 We drew around a circle template, had the choice of using an oil or soft pastel to colour the moon and then using a printing technique, added craters.\u00a0 Some children created their craters using scrunched up tinfoil and others using bubble wrap.\u00a0\u00a0 https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=cwZb2mqId0A<\/a><\/p>\n

Georgia Rose liked learning body parts in Spanish.\u00a0 We have been learning about different parts of the body and their functions this term.\u00a0 The children said they would like to know the names of some body parts in Spanish.\u00a0 One of these suggestions was \u2018bladder\u2019.\u00a0 There was lots of giggles as they asked if they could go to the toilet to empty their \u2018vejiga\u2019 (va-he-ya).<\/p>\n

Isabella recounted that she liked learning our new sound \u2018ar\u2019 and made links with the planet Mars.<\/p>\n

Mrs Devlin\u2019s favourite part of the week was when we walked home from Church.\u00a0 The sun was shining and the children were singing hymns.\u00a0 It was very peaceful!<\/p>\n
