Hello P2B families!<\/p>\n

Here are our highlights from the Blue Table:<\/p>\n

Blair said he loved making a crown for the Coronation tea party we had.\u00a0 The crowns looked amazing!\u00a0 Well done everyone!\u00a0 I think they were even nicer than King Charles\u2019 actual crown!\u00a0 I hope you enjoy wearing them when you watch this important moment in history on Saturday.<\/p>\n

Evana liked dancing to the \u2018Cha Cha Slide\u2019 as part of our learning about \u2018left and right\u2019.\u00a0 We know we can look at our hands to help us if we forget, as one hand\u2019s thumb and forefinger make a \u2018L\u2019 shape.\u00a0 \u2018L\u2019 for left.\u00a0 We also know that our right hand is the one we bless ourselves with.<\/p>\n

Safaa said the best part of her week was our Coronation tea party!\u00a0 The kids enjoyed juice and cupcakes and of course, dancing.\u00a0 Mrs Craig led the conga line!<\/p>\n

Lilly liked making a prayer flower for Mary, the mother of Jesus.\u00a0 We know that May is a special month when we think about and pray more to Mary.\u00a0 The children wrote some beautiful things on their flowers, such as, \u201cMary, you are beautiful and kind\u201d (Ishaan) and \u201cI love you Mary.\u00a0 You have the best son\u201d (TJ).\u00a0 The children are invited to bring a flower\/flowers in for our May altar.<\/p>\n

Olivia \u00a0said the best part of her week was learning a beautiful song about Mary.\u00a0 Here is the link in case your child wanted to practise is at home: https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=lPISwWu7IKA<\/a><\/p>\n

Theo liked making rosary beads.\u00a0 We know that decade means 10.\u00a0 During the month of May, we will pray a decade of the rosary each day after lunch.\u00a0 Your child will keep their beads in their school bag.<\/p>\n

Mrs Devlin\u2019s favourite part of the week was our writing lesson, using Time Sequence words.\u00a0 We examined a recount called \u2018Children\u2019s Farm\u2019.\u00a0 We will continue to examine this story next week.\u00a0 Mr McGurn, one of our P7 teachers, joined us for this lesson and was very impressed with all that the class could do.\u00a0 He thinks they are definitely ready to move in to P3!<\/p>\n
